The shipping label showed the recipient to be Conolon Corp at their 1111 East McFadden Street adress in Santa Ana California and the sender was J.A. Runge Company of 415 A Street, Seminole, Oklahoma, 74868. |

The Runge reel seats are superficially similar to Lakeland reel seats but on closer examination, the hoods are seen to be heavier and larger. In the right picture below, the Runge reel seat with the larger hood is at the left and the Lakeland at the right. The lower hoods were removed and weighed. Runge: 7.3 grams, Lakeland: 6.0 grams. A 20% advantage for Runge. Bottom line: Runge is a higher quality, custom reel seat. |
